Chapter 36

Settings reference

File → Preferences…, the ⚙ icon, Tools → Settings…, or the user menu. Five sections down the left.

Changes preview live as you make them. The footer shows an amber unsaved changes marker; Save keeps them, Cancel (or Esc, or clicking outside) restores everything to how it was when you opened the dialog. Reset all, at the bottom of the section list, restores every default — except your profile.

#36.2Accessibility

SettingDetail

When a colour vision mode is active it takes ownership of the accent colour; a custom primary hex is suspended (not erased) until you turn the mode off.

#36.3AI Configuration

The only place the AI settings can be edited (§34.2): API Key (with show/hide), Base URL, Model (a dropdown filled by discovery, or free text), a Test Connection button and a Status line. A Clear AI configuration and disable AI action appears once a complete configuration exists. The configuration is stored only when both a Base URL and a model are present.
